Butabu is an African term referring to constructions made of mud, a wise mix of soil, clay and water. Several small African villages are entirely made up with this traditional technique. House decorations represent elements of status and identity. Irregular, tridimensional, raw surfaces. Colour shades, dusty and intense tones. Simple lines, almost graphic. The new Butabu collection takes shape from here.
