The Wealth of the Belle Époque. The Elegance of the decorative patterns of that time. The Innovation brought by the Viennese secession movement, in a time of great Cultural change as it was the beginning of the twentieth century. At that time Wien was full aesthetic suggestions, between the Art Nouveau and the Secession influences. One of the founders of this movement was Gustav Klimt, whose art was the perfect blend of all the cultural elements of that time.
A collection characterized by elegant and fine jacquard velvets. Motifs recall the numerous facets of that particular historical time. Revised and re-designed with a contemporary touch to make them timeless.
Jacquard and ratière fabrics with a significant materic effect, create and enhance the strong identity of jacquard velvets, with little geometric patterns and animalier. Gustav collection is inspired by a glorious past for an elegant and distinctive present.
